Will this void my Brother printer's warranty?

In the United States, generally no. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act stops a manufacturer voiding a warranty just because you used a third-party consumable. Will my printer still show the toner level?

Yes. This part ships with the chip fitted, so the printer reads it and reports levels the way it does with the original.If the printer shows a non-genuine cartridge message, that is a separate thing and it is normal.
